The Data Engineer will provide solutions-based information technology services to the Department of Defense (DoD) including data modeling, system engineering and semantic data engineering.”

Qualifications for the position include: “Designing and building taxonomies, ontologies, metadata schema and other information architecture products. Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and implementation, especially Java, XML, Web Services, Message Brokers, associated technologies (HTTP, SOAP, WSDL, etc.) and tools. Experince with XML, XSLT, XSD, RDF, and OWL. Ability to understand new information sharing patterns and map between schema. Expertise in defining & developing data schema. Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to describe technical implementations, work activities and issues. Organize work activities to ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities. Document system requirements, designs, and configurations.”
