Oracle is looking for Software Developers in Hillsboro, Oregon. This position will “Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. Specifically, write design specifications. Provide scoping, estimation of bugs/enhancements. Perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture. Work with Quality Assurance team to review QA test plans for projects being developed. Work with documentation team to review documentation for relevant areas. Work with development manager and other Oracle team members on assigned projects. Utilizes graduate-level research and analysis skills.”

Qualifications include the following: “Model based engineering and design of software independent of programming language, with the help of UML tools; Design and Implement software components utilizing Java; Implement back-end interactions with Oracle Database utilizing SQL and JDBC; Knowledge of Web Technologies such as JEE, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, and Web Services; Knowledge of web containers/servers required to host web-applications.; Coding and debugging in JDeveloper and Eclipse; Write and review test-cases for software; Knowledge of XML and XML-based technologies such as XPATH; Performing research on new technologies such as RDF/SAXON/XML; and Experience working with Product Management & architects to gather requirements, design, and develop key components.”
