Siemens Medical Solutions is looking for a Senior Manager of Engineering in Malvern, PA. According to the post, “The HS Innovation Center (HS IC) analyzes clinical, technological, regulatory and economic trends to develop the innovation strategy for the Health Services organization in Siemens Healthcare… The position is part of a small team aimed at spearheading early clinical informatics development efforts by establishing early business requirements, service and knowledge oriented architectures and rapid development of prototypes with minimal supervision. The senior manager will coordinate the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of advanced clinical informatics software and knowledge systems. (S)he will also coordinate projects with external collaborators at universities, beta sites and clinical labs. In addition, (s)he will also support the development of business plans for new products. (S)he will report to Principal Health Informatician who is oversees the work of the Innovation Center.”


Qualifications for the position include: “Experience with product management. Experience with project management (including PMP certification). Experience with TIBCO stack preferred, including ESB, CEP, BPM, and BAM tools. Experience with development of software-as-a-service applications. Experience with interface development and terminology standards (e.g., HL7, LOINC, SNOMED). Knowledge of knowledge-management semantic technologies, OWL, RDF. Development experience with Siemens ECR, Knowledge of CVE, Siemens AT forms. Experience with BIG DATA and NoSQL solutions. Experience with analytical tools. Experience with information extraction, NLP.”
