He has the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) and GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) certifications, as well as the U.S. Department of Defense Directive 8140 – Information Assurance, Level II and III certifications for data security. Although iDS has provided cybersecurity consulting and response services since its inception, it hasn’t been offered as a dedicated practice. With the launch of iCyber Solutions, iDS will offer services for Cybersecurity Strategy and Risk Management, Cybersecurity Assessment, and Incident Response and Investigations. ‘Creating a focused cybersecurity practice within iDS fits perfectly with what the firm has been doing for the last 10 years,’ Mr. Kirtley said.”
