According to a recent press release, “iDiscovery Solutions (iDS) has launched iCyber Solutions™, a dedicated cybersecurity practice. Already recognized as experts in eDiscovery, data analytics, and digital forensics, iDS is now positioned to handle all of its clients’ data needs. ‘With iCyber Solutions, iDS now offers all aspects of data management,’ said Dan Regard, President and CEO of iDS. ‘It provides clients world-class subject matter expertise on domestic and international data privacy, policy design and execution, and incident response.’ Robert Kirtley is leading iCyber Solutions. He brings over 25 years of experience providing strategy, operations, and technology infrastructure services in cybersecurity, information governance, and investigations. ‘Cybersecurity is a critical element for iDS and our clients,’ Mr. Kirtley said. ‘This enables us to help clients with every facet of cybersecurity, including IP theft, enhancing security postures, and training users on how to avoid compromising their information’.”

The release continues, “Mr. Kirtley comes to iDS with experience in secure network design and testing, incident response, forensics, and investigations. As an instructor for the SANS Institute, he trained hundreds of cybersecurity professionals. He has the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) and GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) certifications, as well as the U.S. Department of Defense Directive 8140 – Information Assurance, Level II and III certifications for data security. Although iDS has provided cybersecurity consulting and response services since its inception, it hasn’t been offered as a dedicated practice. With the launch of iCyber Solutions, iDS will offer services for Cybersecurity Strategy and Risk Management, Cybersecurity Assessment, and Incident Response and Investigations. ‘Creating a focused cybersecurity practice within iDS fits perfectly with what the firm has been doing for the last 10 years,’ Mr. Kirtley said.”
