Incorta 4.6 Platform Release Makes Cloud Data Lakes Analytics-ready

By on

According to a recent press release, “Incorta, the industry’s only Unified Data Analytics Platform powered by Direct Data Mapping, today announced the latest version of its platform, Incorta 4.6. With this release, Incorta introduces new features, capabilities, and performance enhancements that double down on its commitment to bringing data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts together on a single platform. Specifically, Incorta 4.6—the “cloud data lake release”—enables seamless integration and support for ADLS Gen2 and AWS S3 cloud storage technologies, giving companies a powerful new way to (1) provide data constituents with ready access to data that is currently locked up in cloud data lakes, and (2) bring new data into cloud data lake storage in an open standard file format (Parquet). With this release, Incorta also continues its tradition of introducing user experience and performance enhancements to all stages of the data workflow, from new data preview and notebook capabilities to dark mode, and parts of Incorta’s Direct Data Mapping engine now running up to 30 times faster.”

Matthew Halliday, co-founder and VP of Product at Incorta, stated, “Today’s CIOs are in a race against the clock. The amount of data flowing into organizations is growing exponentially, and so is the demand for access to it. Trying to get ahead of the backlog with incremental improvements on existing approaches and technologies alone is a futile task. It’s like trying to supply water to New York City with a garden hose—you’ll just keep falling further and further behind every day… What’s needed is a fundamentally new approach—and that’s exactly why companies like Northern Trust, Shutterfly, Broadcom, and others rely on Incorta’s Unified Data Analytics Platform.”
