Telehouse has put together a new infographic outlining twelve different worst-case scenarios that can reult from poor data management. According to the company, “It is reported that 46% of UK businesses identified at least one cyber security breach or attack in the last 12 months. With the implementation date for the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) fast approaching in May, it is time for businesses to start thinking about your data management, or lack of. Recently, numerous reports of cyber-attacks on high profile companies have surfaced including Netflix and the UK’s National Health Service. 40k+ cyber-attacks happen daily, which equates to 3 every minute, if companies such as Netflix are being targeted, it’s certain your small business is also at risk.”

The company goes on, “Management of sensitive data should be a high priority when putting together your strategy. By 2020 over 1/3 of all the worlds data will be stored or passed through the cloud. Telehouse have created a useful infographic to highlight what can happen when you neglect your data management.”
