Minimum qualifications for the position include, “Master’s degree in related field. Strong programming skill in multiple languages, comfortable learning new ones quickly (ideally C#, C++, R, MATLAB, etc). Experience with MapReduce programming (Hadoop). Familiarity with NoSQL datbases (hBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, Couch DB, Riak) and unstructured data. Familiarity with Pig, Avro. Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence systems, cluster and grid computing. Ability to communicate proactively in a small team environment. Hard-working, fast, and autonomous learner.”
