Press Release: The 20th Annual Enterprise Data World Conference is now Accepting Presentation Submissions

EDW2016-300X250[1]San Diego, CA – DATAVERSITY® and DAMA International announced that the 20th annual Enterprise Data World Conference and Expo (EDW) is now accepting presentation submissions through October 16th, 2015. Interested professionals should review the guidelines and topics outlined at .

The conference is scheduled for April 17th – 22nd, 2016, at the Sheraton Hotel & Marina in San Diego, CA. to review event details and speaker submission guidelines, and to submit your proposal online. The 2016 Enterprise Data World will again include the CDO Vision Forum focused on Data Strategy topics for Chief Data Officers.

Tony Shaw, CEO of DATAVERSITY, is the educational program co-chair alongside Catherine Nolan, VP Conferences for DAMA International.  The EDW Conference is DAMA’s official annual educational conference for all DAMA members from around the world.

Shaw describes the conference as “the most unique and comprehensive data management educational conference in the world.” He is “looking for innovative presentations across a variety of data topics to fill the five-day program”. The most recent EDW Conference was a sold out event. Organizers are also expecting a sold out conference with over 1,000 Business and IT professionals to attend this vendor-neutral data management conference.

Hundreds of presentations are submitted for this program each year. All will be considered, however, selected proposals will need to meet the organization’s guidelines.

Available presentation slots for EDW and CDO Vision include three-hour workshops and tutorials, 45-minute regular conference sessions, case studies, five-minute lightning talks, and panel discussions.

Selected presentations will be approved by the committee and announced to presenters individually by November 9th, 2015.
