DGWinter-2015DebTech International and DATAVERSITY® recently announced that the registration portal for their fifth annual Data Governance Winter Conference is open. The conference will be held at the Westin Beach Resort and Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, December 7th – 11th, 2015. Register before November 6th and receive a discount of up to $100 off. Visit for more information about the conference and the discounts offered.

This year’s conference has “something for everyone,” says Davida Berger, Conference Chair, “whether your enterprise is just starting a data governance program or you are attaining data governance maturity.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to see keynote speakers such as Michael Nicosia, VP of Strategy and Data Governance for TIAA-CREF, as well as a special keynote panel presentation discussing Tips from the Trenches-Lessons Learned from Successful Practitioners. Aside from keynotes, organizers have scheduled more than 35 live engagements for this conference including the latest data governance tutorials and educational sessions.

Throughout the conference, attendees will have many opportunities to discuss data governance with fellow executives and peers working at such companies as Johnson & Johnson, Wells Fargo, Fannie Mae, Ally Financial, Trinity Health, Pearson, and many more.

In addition to the sessions and live speaking engagements, attendees will have access to top companies and sponsors like Data Clairvoyance, Collibra, Compact Solutions, Data3Sixty, and more. The conference also has the support of industry associations including the Data Management Association International (DAMA), the Insurance Data Management Association (IDMA), the Data Governance Professionals Organization (DGPO), and the Enterprise Data Management Council (EDMC).

This program has been approved by the Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP) for awarding contact hours to be credited to recertification records of Certified Computing Professional (CCP), Associate Computing Professional (ACP), Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), and Certified Insurance Data Manager (CIDM).

In past years, attendees have said the following about the Data Governance Winter Conference:

“I liked that this conference is primarily user-led, not vendor-driven. I felt the sessions offered real value from real people.”

-Brent Heaton, Data Architect

“I am just embarking on the DG journey (along with my organization) and found this very helpful–both in terms of information AND networking. Thank you so much!” – Denise J. Lyon, Director, Data Governance

“First time attendee and was above my expectations. I’m now on the business side and user of the data and this was helpful to me.”

Tab Harris, Manager
