Thomson Industries Selects Stibo Systems’ Multidomain MDM

A recent announcement from Stibo Systems reveals that, “Thomson Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of mechanical motion control solutions, has selected Stibo Systems’ award-winning multidomain Master Data Management (MDM) solution to strengthen its supply chain efforts and bolster sales across a network of more than 2,000 distributors worldwide. With facilities in North America, Europe and Asia, Thomson will implement Stibo Systems’ STEP platform to support their Product Information Management (PIM) efforts, and integrate and synchronize the available information from discreet systems.”

The announcement also states, “Using Stibo Systems’ MDM and PIM platform, Thomson will be able to create and maintain automated synchronization of product data throughout the supply chain in order to minimize data variations among all of their sales, engineering and support systems. Maintaining more than 50,000 salable products, Thomson supports an integrated product information flow that is shared among internal teams and third-party suppliers. Using STEP and by creating a single source of critical information, Thomson can present enhanced product information and provide easier search engine capability.
