Robert is a Lead Data Engineer at Qlarion, a provider of data and analytics solutions for government. Robert serves as the lead for the Commonwealth of Virginia’s opioid data sharing and analysis platform called FAACT (the Framework for Addiction Analysis and Community Transformation), where he is responsible for designing and implementing a robust data-sharing solution that facilitates inter-agency collaboration and self-service analytics. This program offers its partnering agencies and participating organizations broad use of shared data relating to the opioid crisis for innovative scientific, analytical, and other applications. Making use of a comprehensive Data Governance model, participating organizations are able to consult data sets available through the data-sharing platform to support evidence-based decision making across their organizations. This includes decisions related to policy and strategy development, project design, project implementation, performance monitoring, program evaluation, and learning and adapting to improve responses to the opioid crisis.
