Cheri Williams is the senior vice president and general manager of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Private Cloud & Flex Solutions. Cheri’s team is focused on addressing key challenges in the IT landscape, such as enhancing private cloud capabilities, optimizing hybrid cloud operations, and leveraging virtualization and generative AI to drive innovation and efficiency. Her commitment to delivering flexible, robust solutions ensures that customers can effectively meet their evolving needs and achieve their business goals.
Based in Fort Collins, Colorado, Cheri has more than 25 years of managing complex projects for global technology leaders. Her experience spans a variety of industries across education, finance, healthcare, and tech, enabling her to leverage a background of research- and data-driven analysis to assess critical issues, develop action plans, and drive timely resolution to produce best-in-class programs.
Prior to joining Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Cheri was Vice President, Strategy, Planning and Operations for the Product & Cloud Services organization at VMware. She has held notable senior leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo, and she also led the initial on-premises Cloud offering at Oracle.
Cheri holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physics from the College of Saint Benedict, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Developmental Neurobiology from the University of Minnesota.
