Dmitry Pozdnyakov is a Head of Data Science Department at Oxagile, Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Electronics. He has more than 10 years of experience in development of algorithms and software for numerical simulation of the complicated physical processes in the quantum-sized electronic nanostructures. During the last 5 years his interest lays in the field of computer vision. He is engaged in both development of algorithms and software for image processing and post-processing and development of algorithms for image analysis including a deep learning approach. He is an author or coauthor of more than 70 scientific publications and 1 patent application “Object Detection in Full-Height Human X-ray Images” in which the optimized U-SegNet neural network architecture is proposed.
