Dávid Szakallas, Member of Technical Staff, Pure Storage
Dávid acquired a Master’s degree in software engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where he specialized in distributed systems. He got acquainted with Scala as an intern five years ago. Since then he has worked with various programming languages, but Scala remains one of his favorites. Dávid’s past projects include a graph database search engine and distributed error tracing for micro-services. Before working at Pure Storage, he was a software engineer in the Budapest office of Ekata, where he developed the ETL pipeline for Identity Graph and developed machine learning tools for data scientists. He has a personal programming blog and a love for electronic music.
