About the Speakers

Mark Horseman
Mark Horseman Data Evangelist, DATAVERSITY

Mark is a Data Management Professional and CDMP – Practitioner with over 20 years of experience and acts as the Data Evangelist for DATAVERSITY. Mark moved into Data Quality, Master Data Management, and Data Governance early in his career and has been working extensively in data management since the early 2000’s. Previous to his work at DATAVERSITY, Mark led Information Management initiatives in both private and public sector organizations.

Alon Nafta
Alon Nafta CEO, Foundational Data
Alon is a seasoned data and security leader who has been tinkering with code and data for more than 25 years. Alon is the CEO of Foundational Data, who is building innovative governance tools and proprietary code-based lineage for large-scale enterprises. Previously at Singular, a mobile and web attribution provider, Alon designed and built high-scale ETLs, real-time data pipelines, transformation layers, and data algorithms working with the world’s most sophisticated marketing teams. Alon is passionate about interdisciplinary technologies and combining cybersecurity knowledge with the data world.
Cindy Vogel
Cindy Vogel Director of Healthcare Analytics & Integration, Right Triangle Consulting
Cindy Vogel is the Director of Healthcare Analytics & Integration at Right Triangle Consulting, where she advises healthcare and life sciences organizations on revenue cycle management, data strategy and policy, analytics integration, and systems optimization to improve operational performance, security, and governance. She brings more than 20 years of experience in Healthcare IT across both domestic and international markets, with a strong focus on translating data governance principles into practical, business-driven outcomes.
Cindy is an active contributor to the global data governance community through her work with Dataversity, where she helped develop and review the content and certification program for the Applied Data Governance Certification. She regularly contributes to Dataversity and DAMA International through conference presentations, thought leadership, and content development, with a particular emphasis on applied governance,  and healthcare data.
In addition to her industry work, Cindy currently serves as President-Elect of the Greater Kansas City HIMSS Board. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri–Kansas City’s Bloch School of Management, where she teaches a course on international health systems that examines cultural influences on healthcare delivery and the global relationship between health and wealth.
Cindy holds an MBA from Columbia College and a BA in International Political Science from Stephens College. She remains engaged in national and local digital health and data communities, including Digital Health KC, and volunteers locally with the Junior League of Kansas City. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her son and nephew at their baseball games.
Rania Waseef
Rania Waseef Founder, Innova CoE

Rania Waseef is the Founder of Innova CoE, a consulting and training firm that helps organizations drive sustainable business and digital transformation through high-impact Centers of Excellence. With over 15 years of cross-industry experience, she brings a multidisciplinary background in engineering, education, and leadership to her work in innovation strategy and enterprise transformation.

Rania is also the Manager of Enterprise Innovation and Data Governance at a SaaS company, where she leads initiatives that integrate governance, innovation, and technology to maximize organizational value.

She specializes in aligning people, processes, and technology to deliver actionable, people-centred change. In addition, she leads training programs that equip leaders to manage disruption and drive innovation.

She also holds professional certifications in Data Governance (ICCP – Principal Level), Strategy planning and Execution (Harvard University), Goal Setting and Performance Metrics (OKRs & KPIs), Lean Six Sigma, Agile Change management, Business intelligence, Business Architecture, Project management, and Business analysis Currently serves as a board of  director on the DAMA International board , VP of Data Governance and Training with DAMA Edmonton and DAMA’s Regional Director for Data Professional Development
