Responsible AI becomes real only when it can be assessed, measurable across the lifecycle even after deployment, and acted upon when necessary with a remediation process and fall-back mechanism.
Enterprise AI risk management should include:
- Inventory of all AI models, agents and other assets
- Defined risk classification frameworks along with tiering
- Fairness and performance monitoring in production
- Traceable decision provenance
- Guardrail enforcement at run-time over input and output as well.
- Logging the agent tool usage within the observability tool
- Clear ownership under a three-lines-of-defense model
