Dr. Irina Steenbeek is the managing director of Data Crossroads. She is a data management practitioner with over 14 years of experience. The key areas of her professional expertise are setting up data management or governance frameworks, establishing a business case for metadata management and data lineage, and measuring maturity and performance. Through the years, she has worked for global institutions and large- and medium-sized organizations in different sectors. In 2017, she founded Data Crossroads, a training and coaching services enterprise in data management.
Irina is a celebrated international speaker and author of several books, multiple white papers, and blogs. Irina strongly believes that the success of data management initiatives is based on combining a pragmatic approach and a clear and transparent methodology.
