DAMA International Achievement Awards Nominations Open Through March 15

By on

According to a recent press release, DAMA International is actively seeking nominations for this year’s DAMA International Achievement Awards. The organization, which promotes Data Management best practices for data professionals, grants its annual awards to those exhibiting exceptional Data Management skills and real-world impact. If you know a person, team, or organization that stands out from the crowd, make your nomination by Monday, March 15.

Over the past 20 years, more than 60 individuals and companies have received the DAMA International Achievement Awards, which are presented at the Enterprise Data World conference co-hosted by DATAVERSITY and DAMA International. Recent award winners have included an inspiring thought leader in Data Governance practices and a senior data architect leading a global warehouse and using data to help save newborn babies with HIV: “The data is important, but it is the people who manage it well and the organizations that focus on it who make a difference,” says Peter Aiken, president at DAMA International. “I know that many who work in data are the unsung heroes of the digital age. Tell us your story, so we can sing your song!”
