Every December, the DATAVERSITY staff digs deep into our data and reflects on the highlights of the year. What data management content did you – our readers, learners, and community members – love most in 2025? Which articles, webinars, training programs, and podcasts helped data professionals like you build essential skills and stay ahead of the curve?
This year was a busy one for us. In May, we combined our two signature in-person events to create DGIQ + EDW, and it was such a success, we decided to do it again in 2026. We also redesigned our website in October, making it easier to navigate and access our educational resources, including a slew of new live online courses and on-demand learning plans. Our Women in Data Management and Governance community continued to expand, cultimating with an end-of-year half-day workshop that combined networking and interactive learning.
Most exciting of all this year, we launched the Applied Data Governance Practitioner (ADGP) Certification Program. Says Tony Shaw, founder and CEO of DATAVERSITY:
