A recent press release out of the company reports, “erwin Inc., the data management experts, today announced that it has acquired UK-based Corso Ltd, a leading provider of enterprise architecture solutions. In addition, the company has announced general availability of erwin CloudCore, a powerful, integrated cloud bundle consisting of both erwin Data Modeler and Corso Agile EA. ‘While traditionally looked at as separate disciplines, both data modeling and enterprise architecture solutions empower greater collaboration, better business agility and higher quality data and systems. That’s why the combination of erwin and Corso is so powerful,’ said Adam Famularo, CEO of erwin Inc.”

The release adds, “With CloudCore, the industry’s first cloud-delivered, integrated modeling and architecture bundle, enterprise architecture and data professionals can leverage a single solution to ensure core consistency in systems infrastructure, better governance of data and systems, and simplified management of information and technology across the enterprise. Said Martin Owen, former CEO of Corso and now VP, Product Management for erwin, ‘Corso customers have been asking for deeper data modeling capabilities integrated with our own Agile EA platform and the strategic combination with erwin immediately addresses this important requirement. We’re excited to join erwin, as our cultures are very aligned and both companies put customers at the heart of everything they do’.”
