Thomas Hazel, Founder and CTO, Chaos Sumo
Thomas Hazel has been at the forefront of communication, virtualization, and database science and technology. Prior to founding Chaos Sumo, he was the founder and CTO of Deep Information Sciences, as well as the chief architect at startups Akiban and Virtual Iron. Thomas is also the author of several popular open source projects, one of which is a database he sold to Oracle. Thomas has patented many inventions in the areas of distributed processes, virtualization, and database science. Thomas has a computer science degree from University of New Hampshire, and he founded the UNH and Deep chapters of the Association for Computing Machinery.
