About the Webinar

There are different ways to connect people with data stewardship responsibilities. You can assign people to be data stewards, identify people as data stewards or recognize people as data stewards. These approaches vary in several ways.

Join Bob Seiner for this month’s installment of the RWDG webinar series where he will compare and contrast three distinct approaches to data stewardship. The approach you select and follow will heavily influence how data governance results will be achieved.

In this webinar Bob will discuss:

  • Three approaches to data stewardship
  • The influence of each approach on program results
  • Factors to assist in the selection of the approach to follow
  • Obstacles to being successful with each approach
  • Benefits of following each approach

Quite insightful webinar and thanks to Rob. I think it is equally important for organisations to do a self introspect to assess their readiness to adopt any of the 3 approaches and it will be nice if you can develop a readiness assessment. My inclination is towards adopting a hybrid between Traditional and Non-Invasive for my organisation.
